2012 NHL Entry Draft Sixth Round Traded Picks
The 2012 NHL Entry Draft will be held on June 22–23, 2012 and the first round order has yet to be determined but some teams have already exchanged picks for this draft viatrade. The sixth round traded picks are below:
- The Anaheim Ducks sixth-round pick will go to the Toronto Maple Leafs as the result of a trade on June 25, 2011 that sent a sixth-round pick in 2011 to Anaheim in exchange for this pick.
- The Dallas Stars sixth-round pick will go to the Nashville Predators as the result of a trade on February 24, 2012 that sent Jerred Smithson to the Florida Panthers in exchange for this pick. Florida previously acquired this pick as the result of a trade on December 7, 2011 that sent Jake Hauswirth and a fifth-round pick to Dallas in exchange for Krys Barch and this pick.
- The Philadelphia Flyers sixth-round pick will go to the Los Angeles Kings as the result of a trade on October 12, 2011 that sent future considerations to Philadelphia in exchange for Stefan Legein and this pick.
- The New York Rangers sixth-round pick will go to the Nashville Predators as the result of a trade on June 25, 2011 that sent a sixth-round pick in 2011to New York in exchange for this pick.
