Mkhitaryan stats in Arsenal clash against Everton

The new duo both fitted seamlessly into the Arsenal attack, with Aubameyang, who recovered from a fever to make his debut, scoring and Mkhitaryan making three assists.

Aaron Ramsey was one of the heroes for the Gunners, firing home his first ever career hat-trick.

He now leads the position in the Goal game by a whopping 31 points, and the gap between he and second place is more than second place to tenth (29 points).

Arsene Wenger pulled off some magic by bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the club, creating a Borussia Dortmund reunion with fellow new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Unfortunately, though, Arsene Wenger and his players have quite a hole to dig themselves out of - they now sit five points behind Chelsea in fourth, who have a game-in-hand. "But the quality of his movement and the quality of his finishing was very good".

"Because they have similar qualities to what our game is about". Technically, they are good.

"The players are showing so much inconsistency that I face an uphill battle trying to get them to play at their best week in, week out".

Arsenal started strongly at the Emirates, going 4-0 up after 37 minutes, leading Gabonese star Aubameyang to say his side won the match in the first half.

His contributions, including the assist for Aubameyang's chipped goal, were praised by Wenger after the game as he described the Armenian as "a great football player".

A blur of one-touch passing, with Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi switching positions behind Aubameyang, Arsenal's effervescent performance was by far their most encouraging of a season that sees them engaged in a draining battle to qualify for the Champions League.

"It is football, and whatever formation you play, or whichever personnel are in the team, you have to do your best".

"Overall, the two players integrated into our game well, and they look like they have played with us forever", the Frenchman said of Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan.

"I don't think it is a dream goal for Alexis, " United manager Jose Mourinho said. We studied how Swansea played and we set out to play like that.

Everton did play better in the second half, with Walcott looking unsafe as they tried to peg Arsenal back, but they were fighting a lost cause.

The latter of those two additions, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, showed such capability aplenty in his full debut.
