Victoria Beckham Pours Water On Hopes Of Spice Girls Reunion Tour

Victoria Beckham Pours Water On Hopes Of Spice Girls Reunion Tour

"It was so great to see the girls", Beckham said.

The pop star turned fashion designer, 43, rejected reports that the quintet would be playing live in the United Kingdom and USA this summer.

A source said: "Simon has been formulating this girlband idea for over two years".

Although there were rumours beyond rumours, and rumblings that - quite frankly - they themselves triggered, it looks there won't be any Spice Girls reunion tour happening any time soon.

"Geri suggested the Royal Wedding is a fantastic opportunity, and that they should offer to perform at the reception", a source told The Sun this week. "Brainstorming." Noting her fashion collection, Beckham said, "But this is what I do". Like the Spice Girls once did, when they launched their band with one member who was like a baby, one who was posh, one who was scary, one who did sports and one who was ginger.

The aim of the show is to bring diversity to the charts.

The idea behind this comes from the girls' manager, Simon Fuller - who apparently plans on creating a huge global band consisting of different girls from all walks of life. We're just bouncing ideas around. Though the Spice Girls will have input into the auditions, they won't all be on the judging panel at the same time.

It has been reported Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner would earn £10 million each for their new project.

Ahead of the show, Victoria just took to social media share a sneak peek of what's in store for her fashion followers and told them how to watch the show live.
