Blizzard Announces Overwatch Free Weekend From 16-19 February

If you haven't grabbed Blizzard's popular FPS title, you can now check the new content out during the Overwatch Free Weekend.

The Overwatch Free Weekend will be available on all supported platforms, which includes the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No word yet if Blizzard will have the game on sale over the weekend, but we don't see why not, especially since it's such a huge draw for players that become addicted to the game.

Want to play Overwatch, but don't want to buy Overwatch?

Microsoft has reportedly sold close to 35 million Xbox One consoles and its Xbox One X is said to have been outselling the PS4 Pro in the US. "If you haven't already had the opportunity to suit up and save the world as one of the heroes of Overwatch, now's your chance".

You can play Overwatch without paying for it from 6am AEDT on February 17 and will conclude on Monday morning.

The game's various modes in Quick Play, Arcade, and even Custom Games will all be accessible.

What makes this particular free-to-play weekend special is that players will be able to catch a glimpse of some of the patch notes that came along with the Lunar New Year event, which runs until March 5.

When trying to game out this weekend, new players will be able to grab the event's temporarily-available skins. The same goes for loot boxes, which you'll be earning at every level up.

From February 16-19, we're calling on all prospective agents: assemble your teams and dive in during the Overwatch Free Weekend on PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One!
