Clairemont native, actor Mark Hamill getting star on Hollywood 'Walk of Fame'

On March 13th Star Wars: The Last Jedi enters the home video market followed by a 4K Ultra/Blu-ray release of the film on March 27th. Aside from heading to the galaxy far, far away, Hamill has also starred in the likes of The Flash and Kingsman: The Secret Service, as well as providing the voice of the Joker for Batman: The Animated Series.

"You are with me through thick and thin, and the highs and the lows, and everywhere in between". I think he has found comfort and utility and control of his destiny and I'm happy for you, pal.

Ford went next, saying that more people showed up for Mark than they did for his star ceremony in 2003, "a lot more".

"From Jedi to Joker, it's been a fantastic ride".

"It's hard to convey my gratitude, my joy and the exhilaration", Hamill said at the unveiling.

The "Star Wars" icon received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star Thursday, making him the 2,630th celebrity memorialized. Basically it was an all-star roundup on the Boulevard today to pay homage to one of the loveliest men in Hollywood, and you can check out more of the pictures in our gallery below! "I haven't been speechless since 'Force Awakens'".

Hamill, meanwhile, joked that Ford's greatest advice to him was to not "get cocky". He was discovered in a workshop musical comedy called "Anthems in E-Flat Calliope" the summer before starting college in Los Angeles.

"Just tell her to feel free to use this gesture if her classmates give her any grief", the actor wrote back, using a gif of Skywalker brushing off Kylo Ren's attack in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. His later television credits included episodes of "The Partridge Family", "Night Gallery" "Cannon", "The Bill Cosby Show", "Room 222" and "Lucas Tanner".
