Browns trade former Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer to Packers

Now, perhaps, they have found the next quarterback to throw to him. they are sending their natural third-round draft pick, 65 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for Tyrod Taylor, who returns to the AFC North after spending his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

Cleveland continued its trading spree by also adding some defensive help, as it reportedly will acquire cornerback Damarious Randall from the Green Bay Packers. However, his stock plummeted when he was thrust into the starting lineup after Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone.

Coach Mike McCarthy publicly supported Hundley at the annual National Football League scouting combine last week, saying Hundley wasn't prepared to start and saying the coaches were also to blame for that. In doing so, they might have just made Brett Hundley available for other teams. "That's something that we have to learn from, and that stings". Randall urged coaches to hold players more accountable for their mistakes. The 25-year-old led the league in receptions last season and will look to turn around a substandard Cleveland offence.

In a Week 4 game against Chicago on September 28, Randall was benched for the second half for apparent insubordination and was later kicked off the sideline by McCarthy, who sent him to the locker room. He also played his best game against the Packers-another one of those dual-team connections-a game the Browns realistically should have won. "He needs to go home and self-evaluate and clean his own house".

In 39 games, Randall recorded 124 tackles with 10 interceptions and two touchdowns. The latter showed potential as a man-coverage corner as a rookie, performing so well he pushed Casey Hayward into the slot before Hayward left Green Bay for the Chargers.

Those questions were answered not long after.

As for the Browns, they had no use for Kizer the second Taylor was coming to town.

As long as Aaron Rodgers is healthy, Kizer won't see the field in Green Bay.
