Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville takes pop at Arsenal during Watford win

Arsenal have ended a run of three successive Premeir League defeats with a morale-boosting 3-0 victory over Watford at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal host AC Milan in the second leg of their last-16 Europa League tie on Thursday and have one foot in the quarter-finals after a 2-0 victory in the first leg in Italy.

The Gabonese striker was released by Mesut Ozil's slide-rule pass but saw his powerful shot blocked by Oscar Karnezis.

Shkodran Mustafi opened the scoring for Arsenal in the eighth minute before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made it 2-0 on 59 minutes. Troy Deeney stepped up but had his spot-kick saved by Cech.

The excellent performance by Cech resulted in a 200th league clean sheet for the 35-year-old, and a rather embarrassed Deeney, whose own words were more than on display by Arsenal this time round. The North Londoners looked nearly unrecognisable from their game against Brighton last week, but they'll have a long way to go before they're back in their fans' good books, and their inconsistency will no doubt be the cause of much frustration.

"It's an unbelievable personal milestone, obviously", Cech told Sky Sports.

Watford had the chance to pull a goal back instantly as Ashley Maitland-Niles brought down Pereyra.

2011 - Petr Cech has saved a penalty in the @premierleague for the first time since February 2011, whilst playing for Chelsea against Fulham.

"I know the players and they lead by example in the team", Iwobi is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

'We have one problem which is Mustafi because he had to come off.

He has a groin problem and hopefully will recover, because I think at the moment he is in a very good shape and he is very important to the team.

"We had nine clean sheets in 18 games at the start of the season to reach 199".
