The "Fantastic Beasts" franchise first took fans to America to see what the Wizarding World in NY is like, but now the J.K. Rowling-penned movies are heading back to familiar territory - Hogwarts.

In the follow up to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Johnny Depp's Gellert Grindelwald has escaped custody and has set about gathering followers. The officials are only there to interrogate a young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) about the whereabouts of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), who is apparently acting under Dumbledore's orders.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald also stars Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.

The next addition to the Wizarding World will be titled Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and will be released on November 16, 2018.

The Harry Potter spinoff, which will eventually include five movies, is set some 70 years before Harry Potter went to the British boarding school and learned to become a wizard.

The poster puts the spotlight on the franchise's new hero, Newt Scamander, with one of the key players in J. K. Rowling's Wizarding World, Albus Dumbledore, standing behind him. The Fantastic Beasts sequel explores the villain's hatred for muggles and his plan to destroy the humans and the non-magical world.

Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander is back in action in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Katherine Waterston (Newt's love interest Porpetina Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Newt's muggle friend Jacob Kowalski) and Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone) are all returning for the sequel.
