Spurs Legend Compares New Stadium To West Ham's Ground

Sportsmail reported on Monday that West Ham want to take security measures out of the hands of LS185, who operate the stadium on a day-to-day basis and are responsible for matchday stewarding and safety.

A report claims that West Ham United may be forced by the Football Association to play their remaining four home league matches behind closed doors.

There was an incident where a West Ham fan got onto the pitch, and got into a confrontation with captain Mark Noble.

If you missed any of the context before, during and after the match, YouTuber's Hammers Chat did an incredible job at capturing what happened as well as explaining the mood amongst West Ham supporters.

West Ham are three points and two place above the relegation zone after losing to Burnley and their next game is at home to fellow strugglers Southampton on Saturday, 31 March.

LLDC insist that they have the financial means to deploy the police.

The centre-back James Collins clashed with another pitch invader and a female steward was knocked to the ground when fans gathered below the directors' box to aim abuse at Sullivan and David Gold, the other co-owner.

"I think a coin did hit David Sullivan on his glasses".

Missiles were also thrown at supporters sitting in boxes next to the directors. Children and stewards were fleeing, fans were fighting: West Ham revived old times'. The LLDC and LS185 are looking at whether there was intelligence to suggest there would be some form of protest during the game.

"The disturbances at the London Stadium were disgraceful and it's clear that there can not be a repeat of the ugly scenes witnessed on Saturday", said a spokesman for the Mayor of London on Monday.

Mundo Deportivo go with a headline saying "West Ham fans create chaos" and add some supporters "once again showed their displeasure by criticising those in charge and players".

The FA expects this to be a lengthy disciplinary process.
