Fortnite's boogie bomb has been temporarily removed from the game

Texture pop-in in a game like Fortnite isn't the greatest of things, particularly because you're supposed to be aware of your surroundings most of the time and if you aren't, well, you usually get a bullet to the brain and that's never good. An official notice has suggested that the game is coming soon, and we've listed exactly what you need to do to ensure you're one of the first to experience the magic of Fornite Mobile for Android.

While you can download Fortnite for iOS-it's huge at 2GB-you will require an invite code to play the game. To participate, you will need an internet connection and iOS 11 on at least an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices.

That's because the Fortnite Mobile Battle Royale download weighs in at a hefty 2GB (it's 1.98GB on the iPhone 7 Plus). The iOS version is out at the moment, but only limitedly because only those players who signed up for the preview. Since the game has already got so much hype around it, it wouldn't be surprising, if the user clicks on the fake invite links, later to only find out their smartphone having the dreaded unwanted software. Some people still prefer the console/PC versions, but we've been hearing that Fortnite has run really well on high-end devices, even in beta testing.

Fortnite seems to be climbing the ranks in popularity, as it has now moved from consoles and PC to mobile platforms as well. In the bottom left corner you should see the "Add a Game" button. For now, though, if you own an iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, you will not be able to play Fortnite Mobile on it.

You will be directed to the Apple App store where you can download Fortnite Mobile.

Once you have made an account, you will be asked which device you will be playing on. Therefore, with steadily giving out invites, they are ensuring uninterrupted gameplay for those already on the mobile gaming platform.
