Moto G6, G6 Play US Pricing Revealed By Retailer

However, the Play has a much larger battery than either of the other two, so you can expect better battery life out of the lower end device.

As for the Moto G6 Play, the handset is likely going to be more affordable than its counterpart at $199 (roughly Rs 12950).

Additional camera features such as landmark recognition, object recognition and active photos (similar to the existing live photos feature in iPhones) will be found in both Moto G6 and G6 Play.

As we have stepped into the second quarter of this year, it looks like it is time for the Moto G6 series of smartphones to be unveiled.

Moving further under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa-Core CPU with 6 GB RAM.

The promotional images of the Moto G6 series don't reveal any features about the phone and except the elongated 18:9 aspect ratio display and dual camera setup on the Moto G6 Plus.

Moto G6 Play will come out to be a less expensive model. It mentioned an 8MP selfie camera with an ultra-wide angle but didn't mention megapixels for the dual rear-facing cameras. According to the online listing, G6 Play will come with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB RAM.

There is a dual camera on the back, too, with 12MP+12MP sensors and a 16MP front camera. Also coming up next is their Moto Z3 which is their 3rd generation smartphones to support its modular MotoMods.

The smartphone will run on close to stock Android 8 Oreo OS. There has been a slight improvement in the battery with a 3200 mAh non-removable, so make sure you buy a power bank.

In the third image, Moto G6 Plus is shown to have special camera feature that allows the user to change the background of the photo while keeping the subject in the same place.

Moto G6 Play - It will come with a 5.7-inch MaxVision HD display with 720x1440 resolution. This will be backed by 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage variants. Juicing up the device could be a slightly bigger 3,200mAh battery that's also charged with Motorola's TurboPower charger. It also features a microSD card slot.

It has 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. As for the availability details, Moto G6 is expected to ship starting May 17, which hints at April launch of the phone.
