White Says McGregor is "Not Apologetic" for Attack

White Says McGregor is

Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor was yesterday charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief following an incident at an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) media day to promote today's UFC 223 event. He is expected to be charged with assault. When asked on ESPN's Get Up whether he would try to help McGregor, White said he was on his own.

Conor McGregor is restrained as he attempted to confront the referee after the John Redmond versus Charlie Ward fight at the 3 Arena in Dublin last November.

According to the president, McGregor's only business in the Big Apple was with the man who has since been crowned lightweight king.

Video footage appears to show the promotion's most bankable star throwing a hand truck at a bus full of fighters, after a press conference for UFC 223 at Barclays Center.

White also denied the rumours that McGregor showed up to Brooklyn to talk business. I don't think too serious. "This is the type of bad decision you make that turns people against you".

McGregor is best known for his battle a year ago with boxer Floyd Mayweather, a brief transition to boxing for McGregor that earned him an estimated $30 million to $75 million (Mayweather, the bout's victor, scored an estimated $100 million).

Journalist Chisanga Malata took to Twitter with the image, claiming that it's Conor McGregor's booking ticket.

The working relationship between Dana White and Conor McGregor took a massive hit this week.

Michael Chiesa was sent to the hospital with injuries sustained in the attack and was forced out of his scheduled fight against Anthony Pettis.

The Irishman handed himself into the authorities on Friday, with his case heard at Brooklyn Criminal Court and bail set at $50,000 (£35,500) - he has not yet entered a plea and his next hearing is on 14 June.

"What the f-", Chiesa said. Ray Borg, a flyweight fighter, was also deemed unfit to fight after suffering corneal abrasions.

He was this week stripped of his UFC lightweight belt, which was due to be on the line in a bout between Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway at UFC 223, before the latter dropped out when doctors stopped him cutting further weight on Friday.
