Honor 10 leak suggests it will change color with surface temperature

According to a new leak, the official banner of the Honor 10 was leaked showing the design and appearance of the smartphone which was held by the Chinese Actor/Sing Hu Ge. Having said that, the company has also sent out invites for a May 15 London event where the same phone will unveiled. Those are likely just placeholder phones - they appear to lack rear cameras, which will nearly certainly be visible at the back of the devices like on the latest image. Since the fingerprint scanner is not available on the phone, it is likely to feature a frontal home button embedded fingerprint sensor like the Huawei P20. The below teaser image shows that the device comes with the most loved twilight colour combination.

Interestingly enough, the poster also suggests a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio which is practically impossible. The smartphone will most likely compete with the likes of Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei P20 smartphones because of the core AI functionality.

Noticeably, the Honor 10 might not feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as one of the early leaks suggested that there could be a front-facing fingerprint sensor. The Honor 10 is expected to get a 5.8-inch screen, complete with a notch. The phone is supposed to come packing 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will also include AI tools for object and image recognition. However, the company is also planning to launch a mysterious device on May 15.

It is expected that just like the newly launched P20 and the P20 Pro, the new Honor phones will also use Huawei's own one-generation old Kirin processors, unlike the Snapdragon processors used by other high-end Android phones, and will run Huawei's own heavily customised version of Android that it calls EMUI.
