Juventus interested in reuniting with Chelsea's Morata

And as Chelsea seem to be losing faith in their £70m pound signing from Madrid in the summer, it could be an ideal time for Alvaro Morata to get reunited with the Italy club where he was most potent.

According to Law, who cited a report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea is holding out hope that Morata will rediscover his form next season and that his struggles this term are normal for anyone who is playing in a foreign country.

Morata has petered out after a strong start to his stint at Chelsea.

Already on his way out?

But Morata has failed to set the Premier League alight after joining Chelsea from Real for £60million last summer, with supporters disappointed with his meagre return of 14 goals in 41 matches. However, there are still plenty of clubs who would love to swoop in for the 25-year-old and Serie A champions Juventus are one of them.

Morata has totalled 14 goals this term after recently returning to full fitness, but Chelsea's form as a team has been poor and they are nearly certain to miss out on Champions League qualification for next season. Mario Mandzukic is reportedly set to move away from Turin this summer, with clubs from Turkey and China interested in signing him.

Alvaro Morata arrived from Real Madrid to Chelsea at a club record fee of an astonishing £65 million but has not had a great debut season.

Even if they do agree to let Morata leave in the summer, it will cost a considerable sum to tempt Chelsea into selling him.

The transfer window is fast approaching and teams will looking to tie in as many deals as possible before the World Cup kicks off in Russian Federation.
