Monday Night Football Preseason Schedule

Monday Night Football Preseason Schedule

On Wednesday, the NFL announced the league's 2018 preseason schedule, giving the Broncos a taste of exactly how their upcoming season will look.

The team travels to Denver to take on the Broncos.

Following training camp, the preseason if the first chance the fans get to see their Bengals in action and for coaches to get a look at new players and schemes in a game.

The Vikings will host the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks in Weeks 2 and 3 before wrapping the exhibition campaign in Nashville against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4.

The NFL usually follows up the release of the preseason schedule with the release of the full regular season schedule just ahead of the draft taking place.

The dates and times of those games have yet to be finalized.

As usual, the Bengals will close the preseason against the Indianapolis Colts. Week 1 games will be scheduled from Aug. 9-12, Week 2 from Aug. 16-19 and Week 3 from Aug. 23-26. That was the only preseason meeting between the teams.

The Raiders will open the preseason with the Detroit Lions at home, hosting the Lions for the first time since 2014.

Houston played against the Chiefs, 49ers and Rams during the regular season previous year. Again, the exact date and time for the game is to be determined. It's too early to know what Vrabel's philosophy will be for the fourth preseason game, so we don't know how much the starters will play.

The Week 3 game versus the Cardinals will be nationally televised on Sun.

The second game of the MNF preseason will feature Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens visiting Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Monday, Aug. 20. Of the Ravens' five-game slate, the final three preseason contests will be played in a span of 11 days. That's always helpful for the regular season.
