Zinedine Zidane has moved to reassure Gareth Bale he still has a future at Real Madrid amid claims the player has already chose to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon, who are well known for their sensational transfer claims, say the Manchester United star will join Real. "I don't see either of them looking sad, they are training well".

"I said after the last game that both of them want to score more but beside that they're working great".

"It always happens in a team where you have some players on good form and that is what happening at the minute".

Zinedine Zidane put his side through their paces ahead of their league clash with Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday night.

Many believe Zidane has now reached a point where he will be happy to let Bale exit the Bernabeu this summer. "We've got very good players and I have to evaluate that".

But before their mouthwatering test against the Bundesliga champions, Real will host Bilbao as they bid to overhaul rivals Atletico Madrid in the LaLiga table.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, was able to escape a Juventus comeback in the second leg of the tie, reserving a place for themselves in the semi-finals.

"The most important thing for us is to take back the second place of the Spanish league", the Frenchman said.

But United are said to be spearheading the race for the 28-year-old, with Jose Mourinho preparing to potentially lose either one of or both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford this summer.

Bilbao have won only three of their last 14 La Liga games, but they have lost fewer games than fifth-placed Getafe over the season; their inability to finish off teams has been their Achilles heel in the league this season. "We have to be switched on to these situations".
