"This is not a joking matter".

Speaking to Ocala.com, parent Chris Oliver related his 16-year-old son's account of the school shooting, telling the publication that it happened near the boy's classroom.

The victim did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened as students around the country prepared to walk out to protest gun violence on the anniversary of the massacre at Colorado's Columbine High School.

The shooting, on April 20, 1999, saw two senior students murder 12 pupils and one teacher in a highly planned attack.
