Retailer Suning unveils Nokia X pre-launch contest, posts more official images

Nokia Mobile Weibo account had also posted an official image of the smartphone teasing a launch on May 16. If that be the case than the Nokia 7 Plus was always VoLTE compliant right from the start but for some odd reason, the feature has been kept subdued so far.

Apart from that, the retailer has also mentioned that the first three entries of the contest will get some money as bonus on the purchase of the new Nokia X6 smartphone. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies with Zeiss optics. It seems like the device will not have any additional hardware related to Facial Recognition. Not even the least leak about the availability and pricing of the device could be picked up. HMD Global reinvented the Nokia brand and now offers a great variety of handsets from entry-level smartphones to higher-end devices. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and has a 6.0-inch IPS LCD full HD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The phone shipped with Android 7.0 Nougat, and was just updated to 8.1 Oreo. Internal storage of the device could go up to 128GB on the high-end version.

Made for creators to deliver stunning content, the Nokia 7 Plus has the screen, power, design and features to make it a true hero in our smartphone range. It is said that the phone will have dual 12MP cameras at the back, paired with a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 25,999 and is available in two colour variants - Black Copper and White Copper. The same device was previously known as Nokia X, however later on the company has confirmed that the upcoming mid-ranger from HMD Global would be called, Nokia X6.
