Destiny 2: How to Start Warmind DLC

Destiny 2 will be getting a major game mode update in the fall that will introduce a "whole new style of play", according to Activision president Cody Johnson.

What's interesting is that development on Warmind was a co-production with Activision studio Vicarious Visions, "Vicarious Visions is proud to be a part of this franchise as fans, and now as developers", said Jennifer Oneal, studio head for Vicarious Visions.

The "Destiny 2" universe continues to grow with its Season 3 release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC players.

Destiny Warmind will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 8 alongside a couple of hotfixes, update 1.2.0 and 1.2.0.1. If you bought the expansion pass already, then you'll be able to download Warmind automatically, otherwise it will cost $19.99.

If you want to own both the Warmind and the previous Curse of Osiris expansion, you can pick them up for $35.

How much storage does it need?

Destiny 2 game is required to play, and is sold separately.

Warmind is the second expansion for the shooter, and brings new gear, deeper endgame content, activities, an all-new story, and features a new boss battle that challenges players in new ways. Additionally, new changes were also discussed regarding exotic weapons, including which weapons saw huge buffs, and which others were more balanced out.

The Destiny 2 developer has done away with the DLC ownership requirement for maps. You want me to do actual work?

We'll most likely give you a glimpse of the story missions during our stream, but Warmind packs more than just campaign missions and corresponding adventure events. In addition, a new Raid Lair called Spire of Stars is coming to Destiny 2 alongside the expansion's release as well as changes to the Crucible.
