Florida's public high schools have seen better years than this year's U.S. News & World Report's rankings.

According to the data presented by U.S. News & World Report, 65 percent of Murray's students pass Advanced Placement (AP) testing, and the school has a 70 percent math proficiency (10th in Kentucky) and 70 percent reading proficiency.

Twin Cities area schools dominated the rankings for 72 Minnesota high schools that were listed.

That's several percentage points higher than the state and national average, according to Stefanich.
