Cardinals 2nd-round pick Christian Kirk was arrested prior to draft

Kirk was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and property damage in Scottsdale, Ari. on february 3.

Citing the Scottsdale Police Department's report on the arrest, "TMZ" wrote that Kirk had a "blank stare" when he was arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at cars outside a golf tournament.

Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Christian Kirk took the field Tuesday for the first time since a report surfaced about his arrest in the months before the team chose him in the second round of the National Football League draft.

Per the original report, the Scottsdale Police stated, "The suspects were intoxicated and leaving the WMPO. As they were walking through a parking lot, security personnel observed them throwing rocks at cars and breaking a window of at least one of them", the police told the newspaper.

As an Arizona native coming off a productive career at Texas A&M, wide receiver Christian Kirk was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the hometown Cardinals.

Here is what a Cardinals spokesperson told "We were aware of this incident prior to the draft".

"We did our own independent research on it, and we felt very good about the information we received", Wilks said.

The case is pending and the team spokesman said there would be no further comment.

"We don't want a bunch of choir boys, I'm not saying that", Wilks said. The other was Christian Kirk, who came off the board before they would have had the chance to draft him in the second round. He was a standout at Saguaro High in Scottsdale and played at Texas A&M.
