Senior Prank Is Smash Hit

Senior Prank Is Smash Hit

The Cumberland Police Department posted photos to Facebook of the scene at Cumberland High School, which appears at first glance to have a vehicle crashed halfway through the brick wall next to a door.

Senior class prank season tests the patience of the adults in the room and the adults of Cumberland, Wis., have passed the test. Kids will be kids and it's not a time to go to DEFCON 1.

They also put black on the brick wall to make it look like the auto drove into the building, creating a big hole. "It wasn't actually a hole, though. This prank included absolutely no damage at all to school property".

The local police also lauded the prank, writing on Facebook, "Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018". Photos that the school and police department shared are jarring at first - but the accident is completely fake.

In the comments section, a few people praised the police for their take on the situation.

"As always, the safety and security of our students is our number one priority", said Truitt.

"So creative! Great job at pulling off an artistic and safe senior prank!"

A different person thanked the department "for supporting our CHS Seniors in their prank!"
