Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play at Polo Event

Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play at Polo Event

Kate was attending the Maserati Royal Charity Polo on Sunday, where her husband Prince William was taking part in the match.

And while their baby brother, 1-month-old Prince Louis was nowhere to be seen, George, 4, and Charlotte, 3, happily played in the grass with their cousins.

The playful photos did spark some backlash on social media, however, as some people thought George's toy gun was an innappropriate choice.

The incident brought back memories of the 2016 Trooping the Colour when William, 36, was scolded by Queen Elizabeth to stand up.

While yesterday we saw the royal family in all their glory on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, we've now been given a glimpse into a much more relatable family day out.

While George seemed elated throughout, he was constantly talking, disturbing the elder cousin, who was seen telling him to stop, while the little one smiled sheepishly at the chiding.

All eyes were on Prince George and Princess Charlotte on Sunday as they frolicked in the sunshine at their father's polo match.

Prince George kept Kate entertained.

Princess Charlotte gears up for a handstand. I really don't get toy guns - why play with things you should never have to use Kate alone shouldn't be blamed about this as we don't know who owns the toys, but someone should have said that this is NOT OK'. No child in this day and age should look at any gun as a fun toy. "This looks far too real", someone else wrote.

As the royal family (including the new Duchess of Sussex!) gathered to watched the planes fly past the palace, Phillips and George started goofing off a bit.

"Another chimed in, "#PrinceGeorge playing with a toy gun!

On a visit to Finland last November, William met Father Christmas in Helsinki and was on a mission to present Santa Claus with a Christmas list from George, which featured one request - a toy police auto.
