Dem Strategist: Singapore Meeting 'A Win for Kim Jong Un'

Dem Strategist: Singapore Meeting 'A Win for Kim Jong Un'

Appearing on Fox & Friends Sunday to discuss President Donald Trump's upcoming Singapore summit with North Korean dictator Jim Jong Un, Mooch got interrupted by program host Abby Huntsman when footage of de-planing Trump appeared on screen.

"There we have him".

Fox News is President Donald Trump's favorite TV network, and Fox & Friends is his favorite show, which makes this recent slip up by Fox & Friends host Abby Huntsman so hilarious.

Then, as she chatted with former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, Huntsman referred to the leaders as "two dictators", which threw the Internet into a frenzy. "I didn't mean to say that, my mistake, I apologize for that".

Meeting with staged ceremony on a Singapore island, Trump and Kim came together for a summit that seemed unthinkable months ago, clasping hands in front of a row of alternating USA and North Korean flags, holding a one-on-one meeting, additional talks with advisers and a working lunch. As the video feed featured Trump exiting Air Force One, Huntsman stated that Trump's meeting with Kim on Tuesday is "history".

While Scaramucci didn't seem to give a nod to Huntsman's accidental shade, a whole lot of people on Twitter noticed the moment. My mistake, so I apologise for that.

"As you know on live TV, sometimes you don't always say things perfectly".

"I'll never claim to be a ideal human being", she wrote.

Marsh responded that Trump is "obsessed" with "undoing [Barack] Obama's legacy and that he is allowing Chinese President Xi Jinping to become a "power broker" in the region".

"I feel that Kim Jong Un wants to do something great for his people, and he has that opportunity".
