Donald Trump's marathon press conference after North Korea summit

President Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un are signing a joint agreement, although the exact details are still unknown.

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are chatting over a lunch of beef short ribs, sweet and sour crispy pork, and braised codfish at their historic summit in Singapore.

Korean news outlets are speculating that the tentative talking points between the pair today would be denuclearisation and a possible peace treaty for the Korean Peninsula.

Jun 12, 2018-US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed a "comprehensive" document on Tuesday following a historic summit in Singapore aimed at the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, reported Reuters. The document also made no mention of the worldwide sanctions that have crippled North Korea's economy, for pursuing its nuclear weapons program.

Experts believe the North is close to being able to target the entire USA mainland with its nuclear-armed missiles, and while there's deep skepticism that Kim will quickly give up those hard-won nukes, there's also some hope that diplomacy can replace the animosity between the US and the North. "Just means we get home a little later in the evening", Trump said. We will continue that and I think ultimately agree to something.

He said the Canadian leader must not have realised that Trump had televisions on Air Force One, allowing him to monitor Trudeau's news conference at the end of the G-7 summit.

Trump also said he would "love" to invite Kim to the White House.

The White House said later that discussions with North Korea had moved "more quickly than expected" and Trump would leave Singapore on Tuesday night after the summit, rather than Wednesday, as scheduled earlier.

The Trump-Kim burger is made with a hope that the summit can be as harmonious as the burger, the hotel's general manager Patrick Garcia Fiat said.

In an online editorial on Sunday, it said China has played an irreplaceable role and provided crucial help in North Korea's march towards the world.

Adding to the surreal nature of Trump-Kim spectacle, former National Basketball Association star Dennis Rodman appeared on CNN in a rambling, emotional interview live from Singapore, where he broke into tears as he commented on his role in bringing Kim and Trump to the negotiating table.

"We may be able to recoup a little bit of that, but I think it is a cost that we're willing to pay and it's our contribution to an worldwide endeavor, which is in our profound interests", he added.

The two clasped hands for a long while Tuesday as they posed for photos in front of a row of US and North Korean flags.

"I'm glad to say that as of now, it's all systems go", he said.

Trump said North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is destroying a major missile engine testing site.

"I'm here. I haven't slept in 25 hours but I thought it was appropriate to do because we've been negotiating for literally around the clock with them and with us, and with John and with Mike and a whole team of very talented people."
