E3 2018: First Look at Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gameplay

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the latest game in the long-running franchise and it has been confirmed for release October 5, 2018 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Do you think any games will be delayed?

You'll be able to go through this odyssey as either a male protagonist named Alexios or a female protagonist named Kassandra. For example, players will immediately notice that you now have dialogue options.

One major returning aspect of the series for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is the naval combat system, most prominently featured in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. After Assassin's Creed regained some of its sheen with 2017's Origins, everyone is excited to see Odyssey in action, hopeful that Ubisoft learned the right lessons.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: First Details Leaked via Playstation Store.

Discovered on Reddit, the following screenshot appears to show Assassin's Creed Odyssey on the PlayStation Store.

From Assassin's Creed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Ubisoft has proved deft at provided games in many different genres to gamers all over the world and doing it well. So what are we expecting? In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the characters would switch between Evie and Jacob. Just as we got to meet Julius Caesar and Cleopatra in Origins, your character will meet some prominent Greek figures in Odyssey such as Socrates.

The game will take place in Greece and its surrounding islands. Expect to see a full reveal trailer then. We knew it was set in Ancient Greece. Setting players loose in the open Indian Ocean, this new mode will let them hunt merchant ships, loot trade routes, and sink enemy vessels either as a lone wolf or part of a pirate gang.
