Alec Baldwin Says He Would Beat Donald Trump In 2020 Election

While it wasn't clear whether or not Baldwin was making a joke, he seemed pretty genuine when talking to Stern.

Could Alec Baldwin go from impersonating the president to becoming the president?

Sitting down with Howard Stern during a recent interview, Alec Baldwin revealed that he would "one-thousand percent" defeat Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election if he chose to place himself in the running.

While discussing the 2020 election, Baldwin said he "can only think of a couple people who I think could beat Trump".

He added, "I would absolutely win".

Republican strategist, Ana Navarro, told CNN's Brooke Baldwin that President Donald Trump's election proved that anybody in America could run for the highest office.

It's not the first time the 60-year-old actor has talked about running for president.

Stern even suggested that Baldwin, who has portrayed the president on "Saturday Night Live" since 2016, should "run for president as Donald Trump" because "that way everyone will have everything".

Baldwin also said his campaign would be "the funniest, most exciting, most insane campaign".

"I'd love to run for that kind of position to just have things be common sense", Baldwin explained. "There are so many things that this country needs to do that are so obvious", he said.

"I'm told she loves...more than one person, now a second person has come to us and said, yeah, it's true", he claims. He also said he would miss spending summers with his five children: Ireland, 22, Carmen, 4, Rafael, 2, Leonardo, 21 months, and Romeo, 3 weeks.
