Kojima's Death Stranding Gets Weirder Every Damn Time We See It

The two were revealed in PlayStation's first ever gameplay trailer that was shown during Sony's E3 presentation where the end of the preview confirming the names of the actresses. While Norman Reedus is the star of the game, if the trailer is any indication, you could be put in charge of various characters throughout the story.

Death Stranding is a third-person action game developed by Hideo Kojima. Each trailer released for the upcoming title appears more weird - and intriguing - than the last. "Two goddesses, Lindsay Wagner and Léa Seydoux", Kojima wrote.

This new trailer for Death Stranding shows off some truly attractive environments, is set to a melancholy indie song, and yes, Norman Reedus gets naked.

That's about all we've seen at the E3 showcase. The trailer lasted several minutes and revealed that Sam (Norman Reedus), part of Corpse Disposal Team 6, was a delivery man of sorts.

Kojima (via translator) confirmed that the game will have Sam as the only playable character. To make things even stranger, we see a sequence where a character uses a baby powered device to evade the clutches of stringy supernatural ghosts, albeit unsuccessfully.

The scenes jump from one situation and location to the next which make it hard to put each scene into context.

After the numerous inexplicably weird trailers since Death Stranding's announcement, this year's E3 gameplay (-ish) trailer was an very bad lot more intelligible. Even so, this is a trailer you should definitely watch, because it really defies explanation.
