‘Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition’ Coming to Xbox One

Revealed at last night's Microsoft conference (of all places), Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will be hitting the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC later this year. The PS3 version that was never released featured a new character and a lot more voice work, so that could be the case as well here. Along with these two new playable characters, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will include additional scenarios, locations, and costumes that will be all-new for Western players. The game was not announced as an exclusive but just as a world premiere, so it's probably going to be released on other platforms. In the succeeding events, Yuri finds himself in the middle of a wicked plot that threatens to destroy the whole planet. You take control of one character and tweak the AI of three others to fight enemies.

Tales of Vesperia is one of the best role-playing games in the last decade. “The Japanese version of the game, with additional content not seen in the original North American version, will surely delight fans.

With the tenth anniversary of the release of the game on the Xbox 360, it seems like publisher Bandai Namco decided it was time for a remaster.

Rumors of a new game popped up a few days ago via Gematsu who had discovered a password-protected site that seemed to be pointing towards something related to the franchise.
