Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Season Pass Confirmed

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Season Pass Confirmed

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII is running at over 160 frames-per-second on Activision's demo PCs at this year's E3. What's even better is that this offer starts tonight (June 11, 2018).

Q: Will I be able to buy parts of Black Ops Pass content individually, like DLC Map Packs from previous Call of Duty games?

As for the Pro Edition, this will include all of the previously mentioned goodies along with a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Steelbook case, a Black Ops 4 Pop Socket, 10 Specialist Patches and 3 Zombies Collectible Art Cards. In addition to this, a host of remastered maps are coming to Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4.

Black Ops Pass (BOP) content is not final, is subject to change, and may not include all downloadable content available for the game. BOP content should be downloaded from the in-game store only; do not purchase separately, or you will be charged again.

That puts a strain on players to buy higher editions of the game in order to get the content they want, especially if all they want is the standard edition along with the Black Ops pass. While Zombies compose a solid portion of the Black Ops Pass, Multiplayer and Blackout are still present, which means this rumor is at least somewhat untrue. Smaller packs are no longer available for separate purchase.

On top of being a smart way to get everyone who couldn't attend E3 2018 involved in the show, the giveaway should also keep Call of Duty fresh on everyone's mind with Black Ops 4 set to launch on October 12th.

We have contacted Activision to see if they can clarify how this will work for those who buy the physical version of the base game. It's all Black Ops Pass or nothing.
