Organisers FIFA said the opening ceremony will have a "slightly different format" to previous years and focus on musical acts.

"Coca-Cola and FIFA provided more than 800,000 people in Russian Federation and 50 other countries around the globe with the unique opportunity to have their photo taken with the FIFA World Cup Original Trophy".

The pop star was singing at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow before the first game of the tournament when he showed his middle finger to the TV cameras, with hundreds of millions of viewers expected to tune in.

It is across the river from Luzhniki Stadium, which will host seven games at the World Cup, including the opening game on June 14 and final on July 15.

Ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, FIFA and long-term partner Coca-Cola devised the longest-ever route across the host country in the project's history especially for Russia.

If you can't watch live, "Hulu with Live TV" also comes with both its extensive on-demand library (which has many shows available after they air) and 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage (with the ability to upgrade to "Enhanced Cloud DVR", which gives you 200 hours of DVR space and the ability to fast forward through commercials).

In addition to the Spanish-language live streaming of all 64 World Cup matches on Telemundo Deportes En Vivo and the NBC Sports apps, Telemundo is planning a virtual reality experience, which will be available on the Telemundo Deportes VR App.

Former Brazil striker Ronaldo will also feature at the event.

WORLD CUP 2018 PERFORMERS: Diplo and Will Smith are reported to be performing.

It comes after Williams was forced to deny his 2016 song Party Like A Russian included derogatory references to Russian president Vladimir Putin. In addition, Telegraph has reported that 500 dancers, gymnasts and trampolinists will be involved, as will Russian soprano Aida Garifullina.
