God of War Will Get New Game+ Mode At Later Date

Many would have already finished the title by now but Sony Santa Monica Studio will soon give them a reason to get back into the game once again.

New Game+ will allow players to carry over all their game progress, including all upgrades, stats, and items, into a second and much more challenging playthrough. Unsurprisingly, since fans were also vocal about this feature, the game's single-player progression will bring the opportunity to play more even after the main story is finished.

New Game Plus mode didn't make it into the game before release. This will include all of the weapons, talismans and more, according to Eurogamer. However, New Game+ will actually be harder.

Things like you armour, skills, loot and so on will remain.

I still need to clear that beefy post-game content!

Development of a New Game Plus for God of War was confirmed by Sony CEO Shawn Layden.

For now, there is no release date announced for the game mode.

God of War is available for the PlayStation 4. Unlike the previous installments, this new entry in the franchise is loosely based in Norse mythology instead of Greek mythology.
