McGregor heads to court after UFC 223 melee

Ultimate fighting star Conor McGregor heads to a vehicle to leave Brooklyn Criminal Court, Friday, April 6, 2018 in NY.

McGregor has a hearing in a NY courtroom Thursday related to his alleged attack.

Video showed what appeared to be McGregor hurling a hand truck at a bus full of fighters after a news conference for the UFC 223 event at Barclays Center in April. And just a few days later, if all goes according to plan, he and Dana White will finally meet.

"I don't know what's going to happen", White said. Two fighters hurt by broken glass were unable to compete.

His pal, Cian Cowley, who was involved in the incident, will also be in court.

As noted, "The Notorious" one is due in court on June 14th, as he faces three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief. I don't know what Conor and his team have worked on. McGregor is reportedly working on a plea deal that could see him avoid jail time.

McGregor and White were supposed to meet ahead of Fight Night 130 in Liverpool to discuss the estranged fighters future, but the meeting did not take place. "Whatever happens (on Thursday), I will be as shocked as you".

White has recently begun talking about UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and McGregor expressing a strong interest in fighting each other, and it appeared he was leaning in that direction as well, but McGregor's legal entanglements could put pause on such a fight, depending upon how they play out.
