The measurement will appear at the center of the blue or orange bar and your screen.

A list of devices that support the ARCore platform and the app is available here while the app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store. It's ideal, for instance, for people who are looking to get new furniture in, but might not have a physical tape measure to hand.

With the latest update, Google will let every phone that supports Google ARCore and has Android 7.0 or above use Measure app. Yes, sir. As an example, you can measure the length and height of objects in your home, such as the size of a rug, the width of a cabinet, or the height of a table. When you first open the app, you have to move the phone around so it can scan the surrounding area.

Sometimes you quickly want to measure something but you don't have a tapemeasure handy. This video shows how Measure works. To get the best results possible, you'll need to be in a well-lit environment, as is the case with most ARCore apps.

As the name suggests, Google Measure allows you to estimate the distance between two points in the real world by pointing and moving the camera of your phone.
