Chelsea FC turn down £50m FC Barcelona bid

The report claims that Chelsea are looking at around £60m from Barcelona if they are to let Willian join the Catalan giants.

However, it seems the former Shakhtar Donetsk man is either not too concerned about the matter or the aforementioned report is false.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea value Willian at around £70 million but the Catalonian club is not willing to pay that massive sum for the Brazilian.

United's defence and midfield still needs some work despite the additions of Fred and Diogo Dalot who will both need time to adjust.

When asked about linking up with Coutinho and Paulinho at the Nou Camp, Willian said: 'Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality.

'I'm following the information about Barcelona on the internet but I still do not know anything.

Mourinho has always held Willian in high regard, and would see him as a superb replacement for Martial, who became a bit-part player last season at the Theatre Of Dreams.

While Willian does have a couple of years left on his contract, we could cash in on him really well and out of the three midfield options provided by Barcelona, Rafinha could be the best of the lot.

He still has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020 and has won the club's Players' Player of the Year award in two of the past three seasons.

And Willian had praise for the forward, saying: "Coutinho has been playing a wonderful World Cup, and he helps us a lot".
