Fortnite Playground LTM disappears July 12, but don’t worry

The Fortnite Playground limited time mode finally got underway for real this week and has managed to run along pretty well since.

Each Playground match lasts for one hour, and the storm circle won't begin closing in on the map until 55 minutes have passed.

You can check out the full post from Epic Games here in regards to Playground Mode getting turned off and what the new version will include in the future. This is all in line with the game's latest update, 4.5, which brought a good ol'fashioned Tommy Gun to play, ideal for writing your name in the wall, or so old gangster films have taught me.

In Fortnite Playground v2, Epic Games is hoping to give players the ability to choose teams, in groups of 1v1 or 2v2.

Fortnite Playground essentially acts as a training mode, with the LTM letting players practice building and shooting skills away from the battlefield.

But, with other new modes in Fortnite, fans feared it would only be available for a limited time, similar to other popular modes like 50v50, which come and go in the game.

It did take some time to fine tune the mode for full release, but now that it is in the game, fans are pushing it to its very limits and going wild with the creativity it fosters.

"So much fun to scrim and build battle them". It allows players to explore the map and play around with up to three friends, free from the risk of being eliminated by other people.
