To-Play Shooter Warframe Announced For Switch: Panic Button Porting

Free-to-play cooperative third-person shooter Warframe is coming to the Nintendo Switch, developer and publisher Digital Extremes announced today. The plot is centered around members of the Tenno, a race of ancient warriors who were kept in a deep cryogenic slumber for centuries.

For those unaware, Panic Button has been porting a lot of titles over to the Nintendo Switch lately, with the developer's most recent project being the creation of a Switch version for Bethesda and MachineGames' Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. We'll let you know as soon as Digital Extremes lets us know, which will hopefully be soon. The game features over 35 distinct Warframes armor sets, thousands of customization options, hundreds of unique weapons.

There's no release date yet for the Switch version, but you can always get a head start by downloading the game for free now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

As a reminder, Panic Button has been responsible for a number of Nintendo Switch ports. So if you're having one of those moments where Fortnite is frustrating you to the point of tossing your controller, you might want to take a break and try this game out. The game is now without a release date or even window, but when we know, you will know.
