Prince Louis will be christened at The Chapel Royal at London's St. James' Palace, which is the same place his older brother George was baptised in 2013.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, tweeted Monday that he is "delighted" to be christening the third child of Prince William and Catherine.

Pictures also show Prince Louis with his family on the day of his Christening.

LONDON: Britain´s Prince Louis of Cambridge, the baby son of Prince William and his wife Kate, is to be christened on Monday but Queen Elizabeth II will not be in attendance, Kensington Palace said.

The Duchess of Cambridge said she hoped baby Prince Louis would stay "relaxed and peaceful" as she arrived for his christening today. "I love pleats", one wrote, and another added, "I love her outfit, she looks so good!"

Britain's Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex leave after the christening. The Duchess of Cambridge took the gorgeous look out of storage in the summer of 2016 for one of the Queen's famous garden parties at Buckingham Palace, though this time she wore a nude pump. She was sure to greet her fans at Trooping the Colour, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding, and while visiting Prince Louis' at the hospital the day he was born.

Louis was dressed in a cream, frilly lace royal christening gown - a replica of the intricate robe made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841. During the ceremony, his seven godparents were also named, including Prince William's cousin Zara Tindall and many of their closest friends.

Lady Laura Meade is married to Prince William's close friend James, who is Princess Charlotte's godfather.

Little Louis could be seen sleeping soundly in his mother's arms, despite the loud flashing cameras nearby, as Kate strolled into the chapel wearing a white long-sleeved dress with matching fascinator.

Louis is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne after his grandfather Prince Charles, his father William and his older siblings George and Charlotte.
