De Bruyne and Belgium defeat France as England beat Croatia

The charismatic 49-year-old - who is in Russian Federation as a TV pundit for English broadcaster ITV - told The Daily Mail Modric and fellow superstar Ivan Rakitic will pose problems for England in their World Cup semi-final on Wednesday they have not had to encounter thus far.

Fellow fan Alex Klein, 28, added: "If we win, if we beat Croatia I'll, I'll probably cry, because to see England in a World Cup final is, is like a dream, a lifelong dream". Croatia and Belgium received 17 and 14 percent, respectively.

"England will be a different opponent to Denmark, Russia or even Argentina". They were also champions that year.

FOR a bit of a giggle we thought we'd see if our photographer Phil Cannings' seven-month-old Sprocker, Tilly, could predict the outcome of tomorrow's World Cup semi-final clash between England and Croatia.

"This generation has been underrated for a long time because of their poor results, but they have shown their quality when it mattered at this World Cup, and it will go down as a golden generation like that of 1998". Both of these countries have needed luck on their side to get to this point, with England needing penalties to get past Colombia, and Croatia prevailing twice in shootouts - against Denmark and Russian Federation.

Both France and Belgium won their respective groups.

In the quarter-finals, France and Brazil would have been my pick for the favourites of the remaining teams. He scored on his full MK Dons debut, has netted against all of the Premier League's top six clubs and also Real Madrid, and marked his first start for England with a goal.

Croatia went undefeated winning Group D, including a convincing 3-0 hammering of Argentina, then beat both Spain and Russian Federation in matches that lasted 2 hours each and both went to penalty kicks. Eight teams are seeded on each side of the bracket.

He nailed the semi-finals.

And now Sir Bobby's spirit lives on in Gareth Southgate's team - as Lady Elsie said he would be cheering on the squad "with every fibre of his being" when they take on Croatia in the side's biggest match of the century, taking place at 7pm this evening.
