INDIANA JONES 5 And The Brand-New 2021 Release Date

INDIANA JONES 5 And The Brand-New 2021 Release Date

After an endless amount of hemming and hawing, Indiana Jones 5 is officially confirmed by Disney. The latest installment in the long-running franchise was previously set to arrive on July 10, 2020.

While Ford remains committed to star as the iconic archaeologist once again with Steven Spielberg returning to direct, one can't help but wonder if time on the project is starting to run out.

Script issues are reportedly behind the delay. "It's rare to have such a flawless combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn't be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven".

Details on the plot for the fifth Indiana Jones film are now unknown.

A Marvel movie on July 30, 2021, moves to February 12, 2021 (a date the studio already had penned for an untitled Disney live-action film), while an untitled Disney live-action title for July 9, 2021, heads to July 30 that year.

Finally, in really, truly, incredibly important news, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2 is now simply called Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Meanwhile, Disney has also made a few other changes and additions to its release schedule.

The film was originally scheduled for release in 2019 but that date was later pushed back to 2020.

That means Mary Poppins Returns, which could become one of the year's highest-grossing films, on Wednesday, and James Wan's Aquaman, and the James Cameron-produced Alita: Battle Angel, and the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee, and Robert Zemeckis' Welcome to Marwen, and the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly-starring Holmes and Watson two days later on Friday.
