Juventus Reportedly Agree £105 Million Deal For Ronaldo

Ronaldo himself has penned a letter to the Madrid fans, thanking them for the time he spent.

After a plethora of goals, four UEFA Champions League crowns - including three in a row, completed in Kyiv in May - and nearly too many records to know where to start, Real Madrid announced on Tuesday that Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving the club for Turin.

"I can only give enormous thanks to this club, these fans and this city".

However, I feel that the time has come to begin a new stage of my life and that is why I have asked the club to accept my transfer.

The first signs of an uneasy relationship emerged when he declared on the pitch in 2012, "I'm sad and the club know why", and they reared their head again after the 4-1 win over Juventus in the 2017 Champions League final when newspaper A Bola said he had made a decision to leave.

The 33-year-old superstar will now call Juventus home following the completion of a stunning £88 million transfer.

"I gave a lot of thought to this and I know that the time has come for a new era", Ronaldo said.

"Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies achieved and the triumphs achieved during these nine years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent and improvement".

The 22-year-old right-back will put pen-to-paper on a six-year contract with Madrid, subject to a medical, the club announced on Thursday.

La Vecchia Signora have confirmed that the Real Madrid and Manchester United legend has signed a four year deal with club, which will keep him at the Allianz Stadium. "It has been nice playing for Real Madrid".

Ronaldo will rightly be remembered as one of Real's best ever players, although he never quite enjoyed the God-like status he craved.

He most recently lead Portugal to the Round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup, where they were beaten by Uruguay. The Real Madrid president is ready to make a straight swap between the players this summer, and utilise the interest the Red Devils have shown in the Welsh International for the past few summers.

Ronaldo is the only player in the Champions League history to have scored in 11 consecutive games (17 goals).

"After the request from CONSOB related to the news published recently on media outlets, Juventus Football Club S.p.A is keen to remind that during the transfer season the club is evaluating several opportunities and will publish adequate information as prescribed by the law", the Italian champions stated.
