Meghan Markle rushes to correct herself as she breaks protocol again

The Duchess has championed Strathberry in two previous official appearances and memorably carried the burgundy Strathberry Midi Tote in Nottingham last December and the East/West Mini cross body bag in racing Green during her visit to Edinburgh in February. "Her wedding dress was quite loose".

We have to say, we think the new royal's minimalist look was strikingly similar to the famous black dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in her movie Sabrina. She wore her hair back in a loose bun, and paired the look with a large black handbag.

And in a cosy selfie with the designer previous year, she wrote: 'Because lunch with @roland_mouret is the very best kind of lunch'.

Which Markle did yesterday when she wore a chic black Emilia Wickstead dress to a garden party reception she attended in Dublin, part of her first official worldwide trip with Prince Harry as a royal.

Meghan and Harry have a busy day ahead of them, with a visit to Croke Park, the home of Ireland's largest sporting organization - the Gaelic Athletic Association.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at a summer garden party in Dublin, hosted by Britain's Ambassador to Ireland, Robin Barnett.

Earlier today she was seen clinging onto her husband, Prince Harry, as she struggled in her heels on the cobbles outside residence Aras an Uachtarain as the couple met Ireland's President Michael D Higgins. They will also visit the historic Book of Kells in the Old Library at Trinity College, followed by a walk around the college itself.

According to a press release from Kensington Palace: "The Duke and Duchess will also have a moment for reflection at the Famine Memorial, before visiting EPIC, the Irish Emigration Museum, telling the story of the 10 million Irish people who have emigrated across the world".
