Apple releases tvOS 11.4.1 for Apple TV

Along with a raft of new software updates including iOS 11.4.1, Apple has today released a new software update for the HomePod, too. Both updates are minor in nature and do not bring any new features to the table. Also in the release schedule is the third update for the company's smart speaker - HomePod - in the form of version 11.4.1.

According to the changelog of the latest update, macOS adds AirPlay 2 multi-room audio support for iTunes. This will enable the users to control multiple AirPlay 2 enabled speakers through iTunes from their MAC devices.

The update also fixes an issue that prevented the Photos app from recognizing AVCHD media from some cameras, along with a bug where Gmail messages couldn't be moved to other accounts in the Mail app. Once you have downloaded it, an information window will pop up on the screen. The short version on how to download the new update is this: go to the Home app, tap on the "location" icon on the top left hand corner, select Software Update then select Install. The update comes with a size of 47.7MB and can be downloaded now on all compatible Apple wearables.

Apple on Monday announced the release of the latest software updates for all of its major operating systems across product categories. Those with automatic software updates turned on will be upgraded automatically.
