Prince William and Duchess Kate christen third child Prince Louis

Prince William and Duchess Kate christen third child Prince Louis

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip surprised royal watchers this week by missing Prince Louis' christening, but insiders say that it wasn't because of health issues.

The final guests were the young prince's six godparents and their spouses, all of whom are friends or family of the Duke and Duchess.

The third child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Louis, was christened Monday afternoon at The Chapel Royal in St Jame's Palace in London.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex meet President Michael Higgins and his wife Sabina Coyne at Aras an Uachtarain during their visit to Ireland on July 11, 2018 in Dublin, Ireland. So you can only imagine my glee at seeing all the pics from the christening of Prince Louis of Cambridge. "Please join me in praying for him and his family on this special day".

Overnight, the newest member of the British Royal Family, Prince Louis, was christened.

Louis appeared to be awake, still tucked in his mother's arms, while George and Charlotte once again held Prince William's hands.

Ireland's "First Pets", Bernese Mountain Dogs Síoda and Bród, gave the Duchess of Sussex a friendly sniff as the group posed for photographers and journalists outside the Georgian mansion. They were seen sharing glances and smiling at each other during the entire ceremony.

She wore the pantsuit, accessorized with black heels and a simple clutch, as she and Prince Harry attended various events in Dublin. According to the site, she also wore matching Manolo Blahnik suede pumps and a hat from Stephen Jones Millinery. However, she did break out of the box by wearing an exaggerated knit headband, which was tucked into her low bun.

The original gown was worn for all royal christenings including that of The Queen, her children and her grandchildren - until the youngest of her eight grandkids, James, Viscount Severn.

Nothing gets past Princess Charlotte.
