Antoine Griezmann mocks Chelsea and Thibaut Courtois after France dig

Antoine Griezmann has mocked Chelsea and their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after he accused France of playing "anti-football" in Tuesday's World Cup semi final.

Defender Samuel Umtiti's 51st-minute header from a corner helped France win 1-0 in Saint Petersburg, despite Belgium dominating the game in terms of possession.

"I'm just like always", he said.

'Their striker plays 30 metres from his own goal.

Courtois' club teammate, Eden Hazard added, "I prefer to lose with this Belgium than win with that France".

Belgium did most of the probing in the game but were contained by Didier Deschamps' side, who progressed to the final courtesy of Samuel Umtiti's victor just after half-time.

"I think he plays with a freedom in this France team where if he makes a mistake it's accepted", Shearer told BBC Sport.

Griezmann certainly has a point as Courtois has won La Liga under Diego Simeone, and two Premier League titles under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, all while playing a defensive style of football. I don't care how, I want a second star to be on this shirt. He scored a penalty in a 2-1 home defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano after failing to net in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

France will face surprise package Croatia in the final of the World Cup, which takes place at the Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.
