Behold: A Massive Jeff Goldblum Statue Has Appeared in London

Celebrating 25 years since Jurassic Park first premiered in the United Kingdom, streaming service NOW TV unveiled a statue of Jeff Goldblum semi-naked torso at Potters Field on July 18, 2018 in London, England. Although for the most part, it's just a source for more Goldblum memes. It's a scene only made better by Goldblum's ascension to pop culture god and the internet's favorite boyfriend - something that the actor is all too willing to play into in each of his delightful, seemingly never-ending jaunts around the press circuit.

Sexy Goldblum will remain standing - err, reclining? - in front of the Tower Bridge until dinner time in London on Thursday, Now TV said.

The statue features Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcolm, the man who criticised the whole idea of reviving dinosaurs from prehistoric DNA in the classic 1993 Steven Spielberg movie. In a somewhat dubious celebration of the film's 25th anniversary, someone chose to recreate that moment as a giant statue. The statue has become a trending topic on social media where Londoners have largely been bemused but tickled by the stunt ... "A quarter of a century later, we introduce you to #JurassicJeff #JurassicPark". I'm not asking for much, Jeff.

Fans of the franchise have gathered on London's south bank to see the temporary 330 lb installation.
