The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Releases on VR in 2019

The game puts you in flooded New Orleans, where you'll need to deal with both walkers and other people trying to survive.

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners has officially been announced by Skydance Interactive and is said to debuting worldwide sometime in 2019.

The game is set to take place in New Orleans, where it "will challenge players to make their way through the iconic quarters, as they explore what has become a brutal, unforgiving wasteland". One thing's for sure; the emphasis on picking the path of a saint or a sinner may prove interesting if this VR game proves to be partially divergent in its storytelling. It's called The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.

You can check out the first teaser art for the VR game below. It sounds like an intriguing twist for the standard Walking Dead games, which typically either have you killing off zombies or going through box after box of tissues (thanks, Telltale!). For those attending SDCC, Skydance Interactive and Skybound Entertainment will showcase the teaser art for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners at the Harbor House Restaurant from 18th - 21st July. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 to Saturday, July 21st, 2018.
