Topher Grace reveals what really happened when he dated Ivanka Trump

Everyone has their own hobbies and, for former That 70s Show star Topher Grace, it's re-editing major Hollywood films. When the Daily Beast interviewer quipped that Grace could play Jared Kushner in a cinematic adaptation of the Trump presidency, Grace laughed and brushed the idea off, saying, "I don't know, man". "I did", he said. This was a decade ago. "I met her here in NY and we went on a couple of dates", he added. I wouldn't say that we 'dated, ' but... "I didn't do it for political reasons", said Grace, who's best known for his role in the sitcom, That '70s Show.

Despite their brief dalliance, Grace admits he "never met her father", though playing Duke gave him an insight to the current political climate, possibly a little too close.

But instead of taking a swanky vacation or enjoying a spa day, Grace chose to recut The Hobbit trilogy - that's almost 11 hours of screen time - into a single two-hour movie.

On why he recut the films: "I think that maybe The Hobbit should've been one movie, and many people would agree".

The two became an item in 2006 when they were spotted getting cozy at Ivanka's 25th birthday celebration in Las Vegas.

In the past Ivanka has also been linked to cyclist Lance Armstrong. "That said, we are just friends".

Before she got cushy with Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump has had a rather interesting line-up of relationships.

The couple will recently welcome a new member into their extended family as Kushner's younger brother, Josh, is engaged to supermodel Karlie Kloss. He's been married to actress Ashley Hinshaw since 2016, and now that they have a daughter together, it's safe to say that he's doing alright for himself.
