Google’s Pixel 3 Could Be Announced On October 4

Google seems to have posted a listing for an October 4 Pixel 3 launch event on Famebit, its influencer marketing platform created to help brands connect with YouTubers. Thursday, October 4, 2018, is the date that is referenced in a FameBit listing, with a rather clear wording: "the pixel 3 phone is launching October 4th, 2018".

Famebit acts as a direct link between marketing agencies and YouTube creators. Such a listing exists for the Pixel 3, looking for Canadian creators.

Google's Pixel 3 smartphone is hotly anticipated, and now, the search giant may have let slip the release date for its upcoming flagship.

Should this marketing post turn out to be true, it also gives us some information on how Google intends to market the Pixel 3.

It's important to note that the launch date isn't a confirmation of when the Pixel 3 will be available in stores - most likely, it's the date the phone will be officially announced.

October is when Google usually unveils the Pixel phone (or phones).

In any case, the Pixel 3 will probably be available to buy one or two weeks after the announcement.

Originally spotted by WinFuture, the post declares the Pixel 3 XL will come packing a Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB of RAM.

Indeed, when a series of real-life leaked Pixel 3 photos leaked online and were turned into a super-accurate renders of the new handsets, the similarity to Apple's iPhone was marked.

Geekbench, a benchmarking platform used within the technology industry to analyse hardware performance, hands out numbered scores for both single-core and multi-core performance.

Android fans will not have to wait long to see if the latest Google Pixel 3 leak is true with October only being a couple months away.
