LEAK: Samsung Note 9 may have 1 terabyte of storage

The upcoming Galaxy Note 9 or a second Samsung device will be required to play the game initially.

However, once this period ends, Samsung might have extended the exclusive by up to two months, meaning Fortnite will be exclusively available on Samsung phones ONLY for an entire quarter of 2018.

It's not yet clear exactly how long that will last. Since the S-Pen will come with bluetooth, users will be able to use it as a remote shutter to click photos and also switch camera modes by double tapping the button.

Now, a leaked APK file indicates that there might be even more to the story, as discovered by XDA-developers. The Galaxy Note 8 was launched with a noticeably smaller battery following the Galaxy Note 7 battery issue, but it now looks as though Samsung is ready to move on.

"The game has several checks in place such as for the mobile GPU, manufacturer, and model to decide whether the device should be allowed to run the game", XDA explains. In addition to corroborating a few previously floated speculations - like a Fortnight gaming bundle and different colored S-Pen styluses - the post also reported a new camera feature that notifies you of any possible issues (like too much motion blur or blinking eyes). It appears to check a device's brand, codename, and feature set and matches it against either the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 before playing.

But despite the event being only three days away, rumors are still circulating about the premium device. This would send one of Epic Games' reasons for avoiding the Google Play Store down the drain, as it claimed to want to maintain a direct relationship with its customers.
